Founded in 2023, Nelli Bissot is a New York-based studio that approaches repairing the social architecture of conversing, eating, oral history, and storytelling amongst domestic spaces. Each object pushes how sculptural furniture can foster enduring engagement through physical interaction, and embraces handmade marks and the shape clay surrenders to. Sculptural bodies carry their own memory, shown in scratches, or organic, vulnerable, yet stable shapes. The color palette of the collection is referent to archaeological excavations of Pompeii frescoes and ceremonial Pre-Columbian artifacts, both of which are in proximity to familial roots.

Every object is handmade and made to order.
